Research in the Chair of Ontology and Theory of Knowledge
The research includes the following areas:
- the status of knowledge, in particular in the context of foundationalism - anti-foundationalism,
- the cognitive status of scientific theories,
- the levels of inter-theoretic incommensurability in philosophy and science,
- evolutionary epistemology and philosophy of biology: the hypothesis of adaptive origin of cognition, theoretic assumptions behind neo-Darwinism.
